HISTORY OF MAKEUP
The initial archaeological proof of makeup practice was found in the year of 4000 BC in Ancient Egypt. The Romans and Ancient Greeks made use of makeup products. Those makeup products are made from various elements such as white like lead, mercury. Kohl was one of the most popular makeup elements on those days and the Ancient Egyptians used this to outline the eyes. It means that kohl was used as the eyeliner. The Kohl includes ingredients like copper, lead, soot and burned almonds etc. Around 3000 BCE, people of China used gelatin, gum arabic, beeswax and egg for preparing the makeup products in earlier days. Japanese used packed-down safflower petals to color the eyebrows.
